TOLL Rescue Helicopter Refuel Installation at Bankstown Airport
This was a major project for AFSE – involving 2 x 22,000 self-bunded JET storage tanks, infill and decanting pump systems, underground distribution pipeline to multiple hydrant points.
Installation included 2 x 22,000 self-bunded JET storage tanks, pumping equipment to infill and deliver to the underground distribution pipeline to multiple hydrant points. A hydrant cart to connect to the hydrant for delivery into aircraft.
High volume filtration system. All 316 stainless piping pre-pressure tested, all welds passivated.
This hydrant cart connects to drybreak fittings located in special pits along the subterranean stainless pipeline to access fuel.
The 22,000 litre self-bunded storage tanks, pumps and filtration, waste fuel storage and stainless pipelines.
