Built for VIVA Energy – 5,000 Litre Self-Bunded Jet-A1 Tanks
These 5,000 litre self-bunded Jet-A1 tanks, equipped with diesel-powered dispensing systems, were originally designed for deployment at remote airfields in Western Australia to provide emergency refuelling for CareFlight Rescue Helicopters. Following this, Viva Energy secured the national contract to supply fuel to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), and these units have since been supplied for emergency refuelling at RFDS sites across Australia.

- Stainless Steel Construction:
Self-bunded tanks are fabricated from stainless steel, ensuring no corrosion, no need for tank lining, and minimal maintenance requirements. - Efficient Dewatering/Sampling:
Each unit includes a dewatering/sampling pump with a stainless steel tube reaching the bottom of the collection sump for effective water removal and fuel sampling. - Safe Access:
Stainless steel steps with handrails, built to AS1657 standards, provide safe and secure access to the dewatering pump.
These robust, low-maintenance tanks deliver reliable emergency refuelling solutions for critical air services in remote and challenging environments.
